Bill Prymak’s “The Impossible Coincidences” or “Is Everybody a Conspirator and Lying Through Their Teeth” (displayed in all caps) appeared in the February 1994 edition of the Amelia Earhart Society Newsletters. It’s a two-page discussion of the well-known “Broken Wing” description of the Earhart Electra on the ground — or possibly in the water — at Mili Atoll in early July 1937. Some sources are more credible than others, and Prymak makes a point of emphasizing this important point.
I think this topic is ripe for further discussion and analysis, and present the two pages in their original format. You can click on each page for larger presentation and easy reading.

Amelia Earhart: The Truth at Last 
Greetings to All:
A landing on Barre Island, Mili Atoll rough enough to tear a wing off of the Electra would certainly account for the injuries sustained by Fred Noonan and treated by Bilamon Amaron. That begs the question, where was FN when the Electra touched down? Was he in the rear of the fuselage at his navigator’s station? Was he upfront in the the cockpit’s right seat with his seatbelt properly fastened and tightened?

So many mysteries involved in this case..from what I have read, they never reached the trees, so surprised that one witness said the trees broke off the wing…it would eeem from all reports that anything Bilamon Amaron said can be “taken to the bank”..if he said a wing was broken, then…a great point that Bill brought up..the reports of a broken wing indicates life after July 2, so all those reports of crash and sank can be tossed out the window..as always, these witnesses cannot be discounted as they certainly had nothing to gain from their testimony. Can all of these people who knew nothing of each other be wrong or mistaken? I don’t think so!

It was notable that Prymak gives credibility to Randall Brink who was a proponent of the elaborate Amelia as spy scenatio. Brink also placed her plane at Taroa after it was removed from Mili. I don’t remember if a resolution was reached here on that possibility. Maybe Woody Peard gave a description of Taroa after the war and gave an opinion as to whether her plane or the one-winged plane was still there.
Ric Gillespie was or is a great proponent of the of her miracle landing on Niku and running her right engine to power her radio. I don’t remember him addressing on his forum the broken wing possibility. I don’t think she would need to run the engine, if the batteries were charged, the radio would operate quite a while on battery power. At least the transmitter would. I don’t have any idea if the receiver was a power hog. I have read that the receiver used a dynamotor. One day, I did stumble on a demonstration on Youtube of a radio receiver with a dynamotor. It sure was a noisy device on that video. But what role it had, if any, on her radio communication, I have never seen. It would seem highly unlikely anyone ever responded to her distress calls or even tried to.
When I think of her wing breaking off, it made me picture the interior of her plane. I viewed the interior of the L10A at the BRadley Museum in Ct. There is a large cross brace or truss that crosses the interior which forms something like a gate you have to jump over to get to the cockpit of the plane. I don’t know if this would have any bearing on the wing coming off. Maybe it was bent and the Japs removed it somehow.
Quite some time ago, I read that the illustration on the stamp was merely a fanciful artist’s guess as to what the actual crash scene looked like, done at Loomis’ behest to advance his theories. I pointed out that, to me, the illustration of the Koshu (ship) looked like the wrong Koshu, but why the artist painted the one he did will never be known. Probably it doesn’t matter.
So may details that just lead to many more questions. As always.

Any emergency landing, not at an airport, can seriously damage a plane enough to break a wing off. Note the water landing of a 737 off Honolulu last fall. The plane sunk and the crew was rescued, but when divers found the wreckage some time later, the fuselage was broken in half–they did not hit any trees, just water.

Bill Prymak clearly states, the obvious broken wing acknowledgements. When you have different people seeing a broken wing, this substantiates the plane landed on Mili Atoll.
Rick Gillespie’s FANTASY Island scenario, is one for the books, ignorant & gullible. Rick is only one of the many crackpots, who have lost all conscious to the *TRUTH. People who suffer from this mental fog, are never able to see clearly…………I’m sorry to say, we have to coexist in the same world. They are a disgrace to *Amelia Earhart’s very name & accomplishments.

I think that those who insist on foisting Nikumororo on a largely ignorant, gullible, and uncaring public do so in the sincere belief that they’ll never be proven wrong, while we who promote the Japanese Capture/Death on Saipan truth do so with the deep and abiding conviction that that truth will eventually be acknowledged in the public forum.

It would be nice if an independent, unbiased entity (University?) did a full in-depth study of all of the evidence available today and provide an educated answer. There would be two big problems however. First, finding a truly unbiased entity; second, having the result reported if it did not comply with the current establishment’s view.
I recall something similar to this was done back in Fred Goerner’s day which was not favorable to the truth (there is much more information available today however).

It’s a great idea, but I can’t think of any entity whatsoever that could take up the task of thoroughly reviewing the subject in a fair, objective, unbiased manner. As for the media, they don’t even pretend to be unbiased anymore and are nothing more than purveyors of establishment propaganda and lies.

A distinguished reader, himself a Ph.D. and a noted expert in a different field from History, asked me a similar question the other day. I told him that among college and other so-called historians whether in academe or elsewhere — with the exception of David Martin, who is a Ph.D. in another discipline but could easily be mistaken for a historian because of his outstanding books on the murders of Thomas Merton and James V. Forrestal — not a single one has ever supported my work. I have sent my material to countless college history faculties across the country and have not received a single response. “They are a massive, groupthink flock of cowards who never fail to conform,” I wrote in an email to him. I do not exaggerate.

As Mike has stated, these universities are a groupthink flock of cowards. Three years ago, I drove to two, different, Northwestern, Michigan colleges; posted Mike’s – Amelia Earhart/ The Truth at Last – literature/cards & pictures unto their entrance campus post boards. I was approached at the second college, by a man/teacher who asked, what I was doing?
I said, I thought you’s might be *interesting in this VERY IMPORTANT information about Amelia Earhart’s demise & death by the Japanese. He asked if I was attending their college? I said no, he then stated, I needed to ask permission first and that I needed to leave! I was utterly shocked & dismayed by his cold reception to me and what I thought would be of GREAT *Interest to their college/history programs.
I never went to another college nor university, with the HOPE of sharing Mike’s *TRUE & *TESTED research.
As for today’s media/news programs, I have absolutely no respect, for their close minded platforms and narrow minded grasp of the *TRUTH, concerning Amelia Earhart’s captivity & death by the Japanese.
I wish this wasn’t so, but our educational system, is a farce and then some, when it comes to U.S. History and other curriculum’s. They don’t want anyone rocking their boats and egg all over their faces. It would be too embarrassing for them, to have to explain, they were WRONG & duping their students all these years.

When I first read TAL I was highly motivated to spread the word. I decided to ask my local privately funded public library to stock the book. The director seemed to be squinting at me as she brushed me off. So, I said, I will buy a copy and donate it. I did just that, and after I gave her the book I was on the lookout for it to be sitting on the shelf, beside the Hillary Clinton and FDR and other mainstream books. Mike said they would never stock it..
When it didn’t appear, I asked Andrea where it went, she said she put it in the $1 book pile with other donations. Besides, she said, it wasn’t on the NH? approved list, so it would be an unbearable? amount of work to get it approved. So she certainly put me in my place. I took it back and never contributed to the library again. That showed her! So much for “Live Free or Die” that’s no longer on our license plates. It’s a good thing we have watchdogs like Andrea or our children would be led astray.

I need to make a correction. I went out and looked at my license plate and it still says “Live Free or Die”. That’s a relief. I should resume taking my “Focus Factor” pills, I guess.
I was rereading the story and I noticed that in the radio intercepts, not only does she say “broken wing” she also says “200 miles So. of Howland”. How come nobody makes a comment about that? Was she that disoriented she made a 700 mile mistake? Clearly, her overflying Howland, not seeing it, and continuing 200 miles to find Gardner and landing on it makes a much more plausible story than flying 600 or so mile NW to land on Mili assuming she was close to Howland to begin with.
I know, it is said the Japanese would never risk capturing her and her plane in British territory, but somehow, it’s impossible to prove that she didn’t do that. Apparently that deep dive operation wouldn’t be done if somebody with $$$$ didn’t believe the Nikumaroro scenario. It doesn’t seem that the govt. would invest that kind of money on a mission that doesn’t prove or disprove anything in the minds of the gullible public. Just my opinion, of course.
So we are left with what anti-Mili persuasion says is “unreliable eyewitness testimony.” that she landed on MIli. They are probably sincere about that. We will all learn the truth about the same time as the Oak Island search crew finds the buried treasure.
